Bed rest

Sorry for my lack of posting but my life has somewhat been a little tricky this last week.

The Sunday before last I was sitting in church and I started to feel I had period pain and then quickly realised this was not good and it was probably labour, I sat quietly trying to work out if I needed to go to hospital.  I waited till the end of the service and left to go tell my husband I need to go to hospital. When I arrived I was having contractions 3-4 minutes apart which is how my labours start. Thankfully my cervix had not started dilating and they were able to stop contractions with medication and give the baby steroids as I was at that time 31 weeks 5 days.
They kept me in till Tuesday where I was sent home on complete bed rest, this has not been easy but I know it is the best for my baby boy at this time.

I await my Dr's appointment tomorrow hoping that bed rest may be lifted :)

I am now 33 weeks and hoping he stays in for another three weeks but the Lord knows his time of birth and I am at peace with this.

This last Sunday gone some beautiful girls from my church threw me a baby shower, I was so overwhelmed and excited. If you have face book I will share them on the Raising Godly Daughters face book page.

 We are back and have started school, Starting with Wisdom Book 18. It is Talithas first year of school, here she is doing the scripture worksheet.

Here I am looking a little tired at 30 weeks.

I am back

I am so happy to be back after many months, an amazing friend gave me a laptop a few days ago and I am excited to be back

 I am almost 30 weeks pregnant with our second boy, we are all very excited. This pregnancy has been good. I am growing at a fast rate lol.

 We have just got back from ATI home school conference it was the best conference we have been to. Our guest speakers were David and Priscilla Waller, Priscilla is Anna Duggar's sister. I was honoured to talk about Wisdom Book planning and was asked to join the mothers panel, I was completely overwhelmed by this, but my prayer was to encourage mothers in their journey. Brad also gave our family testimony and four of my older children testified to Gods Goodness to us as we minister in Kings cross.

 After conference we took time off to go on a family holiday to Bright, it was an amazing time, we had so much fun swimming in the river and hiking to water falls. I am now preparing to start school for the year and preparing for a new baby in March, we are excited at what God is going to do in 2013

Morning sickness :(

Morning sickness has been bad this pregnancy but the last few days it has been terrible, I am very happy to be having symptoms but it is a really difficult time for me, I am getting little done around the house because all I want to do is sleep :( If you could spare a prayer or a morning sickness remedy I would really appreciate it.

Announcement time ;)

We are expecting number 8 in March/April 2013 I wanted to wait until we had seen a heart beat to announce so last week we went to the doctors and there was our baby with a strong heart beat Praise God, I am still very nervous but am learning to lean on God like I have never known. I am very sick with morning sickness, but I am excited to be having symptoms. When I get a new computer I will post some pics ;)

Technical issues :(

I am sorry about my lack of posting our computer has broke and I am unable to buy a new one at the moment :( If you could join us in praying for God to provide for us. Hopefully I will be back soon with some exciting news ;) Mary xx
